The best way to reach us is by email.
What we collect
- Public business information. To build a sample website, we use details a business has already made public, such as its name, address, phone number, hours, menu and services, and its public business email. We use stock or AI-made pictures in samples, not the business's own photos, unless the owner sends them to us.
- Recommend-form details. When you recommend a business, we keep what you type in the form (the business's name, address and type, and any note) so we can look into it. Your name and email are optional. If you give your email and tick the box, we'll only use it to follow up about your recommendation.
- Photos and information you send us. If you own a business we made a sample for, you can send us your photos, menu, hours and notes on a private upload page (or by email). We keep them private, use them only to build and update your website, and only put them on your site with your OK. When you send photos, you confirm you own them or have the right to use them. To have them deleted, email us.
- Email opens and sample visits. Emails we send to businesses include a tiny image that tells us whether the email was opened, and we note when an owner signs in to look at the sample site we made for them. We log the time, the IP address and the browser or email app. We only use this to see how our outreach is doing. To block it, turn off images in your email app.
We don't sell or share your information, and we won't tell a business who recommended them unless you ask us to.
Who we email
We only email a business at an email address it has publicly listed for that business, and only about that business's own sample website. Every email we send says who we are, gives our mailing address, and tells you how to stop getting emails.
How to stop emails
Reply to any of our emails with the word "unsubscribe", or email support@mainstreetready.com. We'll stop emailing you within 10 business days.
Removing your details
To have your details removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@mainstreetready.com.
