A chair, a towel and time
Main Street Barbers opened in 1998 with two chairs, a radio and a coffee pot. Mike Russo still has the first pair of clippers on a shelf by the till.
We kept it walk-in on purpose. Come in, take a leather chair, have a coffee and we’ll get to you. Most of our regulars say the wait is part of the visit.

Questions, answered
Do I need an appointment?
No. We’re walk-in only: first come, first served. Call ahead and we’ll tell you the current wait.
When is it quietest?
Weekday mornings and mid-afternoon. Saturday mornings and Friday after work are busiest.
How much should I tip?
Tips are always appreciated but never expected. Cash or card is fine.

How do you clean your tools?
Clippers and combs are cleaned and disinfected between every client, and razor blades are single use.
Do you take cards?
Yes: debit, credit, tap and cash.
Is there parking?
Free street parking on Main Street and a lot behind the bank across the road.
