Our story

Over 25 years on Main Street

Main Street Barbers opened in 1998 with two chairs, a radio and a coffee pot. Mike Russo still has the first pair of clippers on a shelf by the till.

Since then we’ve added two chairs, a proper espresso machine and a lot of regulars. Dads bring their sons, and the sons bring their own kids now. Some things don’t change: a good cut, a fair price and a bit of conversation.

Questions, answered

How do I book?

Pick a service, a barber and a time in the booking section above. It takes about 30 seconds.

What if I’m running late?

Give us a call. If you’re more than 10 minutes late we may need to shorten the service or move you to the next opening.

Do you still take walk-ins?

Yes, when there’s a free chair. Booking guarantees your spot.

How much should I tip?

Tips are always appreciated but never expected. Cash or card is fine.

Do you cut women’s hair?

Yes. We cut short hair for anyone; for longer styles, a salon may suit you better.

How do you clean your tools?

Clippers and combs are cleaned and disinfected between every client, and razor blades are single use.

Do you take cards?

Yes: debit, credit, tap and cash.

Is there parking?

Free street parking on Main Street and a lot behind the bank across the road.
