Our story

Three generations, one smoker

Little Red’s opened in 1987, when Ruby “Red” Morrison turned an empty corner on Example Street into a twelve-seat lunch counter. Her father was a farmer, and she cooked the way he ate: early, generously and from scratch.

The smoker out back still runs every morning. Ribs and pulled pork go in at dawn, the corn muffins and butter tarts come out by nine, and whatever is fresh from the market ends up in the soup.
