Our story

A corner booth with a lot of history

Little Red’s opened in 1987, when Ruby “Red” Morrison turned an empty corner on Example Street into a twelve-seat lunch counter. She served burgers, soup and pie to the mill crews, and the coffee was always fresh.

Today her grandson Danny runs the grill. The red booths are new-ish, the recipes aren’t: the gravy is still Ruby’s, the ribs still smoke low and slow out back, and the butter tarts come out of the oven every morning at nine.
