An old hardware store with a stage
Main Street Tap & Stage started in 2009 when two session players bought an old hardware store on Main Street, tore out the shelving and built a stage where the paint counter used to be.
Since then more than 1,500 bands have played that stage, from first-time open-mic nerves to touring acts on their way through. The sound is good, the beer is cold and the staff know most of the regulars by name.
